Okay, so this is less cowgirl and more Little House on the Prairie, but still a very rodeo appropriate outfit. And hold up, I know cowboy boots are so 2001 but whatever forever, I wish I had more reasons to wear these. Even though these boots were secondhand, they were still pretty expensive since real cowboy boots are made with great leather and detail. The stitching on it is beautiful and the color in person is so great. Also note, only in Texas can I wear cowboy boots and be business casual. I wore this to work and everybody loved it. And for those who were wondering, the rodeo is awesome and my favorite thing to watch is mutton bustin'

One of my favorite trends are midi skirts. They're work appropriate, girly, cute, and lot more comfortable to sit in than pencil skirts. I've had this one for 8 year now (you know, before they were popular), and I still get compliments on it every single time I wear them. Also, these wedges from Madewell are officially my new favorite item of clothing. Easy to walk in, duotone, and they fit my wide feet!
In conclusion: I love midi skirts. And stripes.
