Polka Dot Detox

I set everything up (in a serious hurry) to take Real Pictures with my nicer camera this morning and all of them came out kind of weird -- out of focus, too much lens flare, framing was off, some weird cowlick action which you can still kind of see below, etc.  I don't have a full-length camera in my apartment (maybe that's why I look like a mess all the time HEYOOOOOO) so I look a quick snapshot in the lobby at work.  No judgment zone, guys.

I know you're probably sick and tired of my polka dots by now.  Here's the thing -- I'm trying to get it all out of my system before the official start of the 30 For 30 Challenge, which we've spoken about very briefly here and here.  We're still trying to work out which Within Color contributors will participate, but stay tuned for more on that.  In the meantime, I'm trying to figure out which items I'll be using and which restrictions to give myself regarding item selection.  Two years ago, when I did the challenge the first time around, I wore a lot of denim, so I gave myself a strict rule: NO JEANS.  This time around, the only restriction I've come up with thus far is that I can only include one polka dotted item.  This is a Big Deal for me, seeing as I own not two, not three, but EIGHT dotted items -- two pairs of pants, a t-shirt, a pair of shorts, this dress, two sweaters, and two button downs -- and they will all gradually Highlander each other because there can be only one.
