What current issues are you passionate about?
I'm most passionate about education reform, and ensuring all children have the opportunity to access high quality education. I've spent the last two years teaching economically disadvantaged little ones in South LA to close the achievement gap, and have been working with community organizing and advocacy groups to mobilize change in the education system.
What problematic issues do you face within fashion/beauty as a WOC?
The beauty myth, hypersexualization.
