The first week of the challenge is over and one of the hardest parts is actually taking a picture everyday. I have also decided that I am going to try to wear lipstick every day since it makes me look less tired.
Disclaimer: If you're wondering why my work outfits are so casual and contains sleeveless shirts - its because I also wear a white coat to work and it covers up half out my outfit anyways. As long as I'm not wearing blue jeans, I'm good to go.
This week's necklaces
A BORING START: Funny how I start off the challenge running late for work. Brown and black, oops who cares. Staring at this picture, I realize how much I don't like NOT wearing lipstick. I love this silk top though, it actually has a nice classy cut on the back.

FUN OR FUGLY? Hmm, so maybe I don't wear this shirt a lot because its actually not that cute. This is definitely one of those outfits I would have never put together if it wasn't for the challenge. I never wear this shirt, and I usually tuck in boxy shirts into high waisted things. I probably won't wear this shirt for the rest of the challenge - wasted item!

SHOE SWAP: I always wondered why people loved the J Crew Minnie pants so much, and when I first got them I thought to myself - overrated. I hate that they don't have any pockets, but I admit, I love the fit. Bass loafers for work then I swapped to some strappy sandals afterwards. I also love this simple geometric necklace from Forever 21.

MIDI SKIRTS 4EVER: Oh. My. Gawd. I am in love with this skirt. I'm kicking myself for not getting it in the other colors that were on sale since they're all gone now. Box pleats, perfect length, perfect thickness. This is my default striped shirt for every outfit in my life. Scooped back, nice thick cotton tee, I wish I had more.

DEFAULT OUTFIT: Whenever I work weekends, I cheat and wear black jeans. Since I was running late to work (shopping at Target for the Philip Lim line....) I just grabbed my chambray button up - the answer to everything really.

PETER PAN COLLARS: I use to be all about peter pan collars, but have not worn one in forever! I decided to add this shirt to the challenge since I use to love it but I have not worn it in at least 2 years.

WRINKLY SHORTS: Took advantage of my day off and wore some shorts. I swear they didn't look so wrinkly when I put them on. I wanted to wear my strappy black sandals, but I was too lazy to sit and strap them on. Kinda basic, but whatevers. I do love my green shorts though.
