I will soon be departing for my 24 days "backpacking" trip to Europe as my post graduation celebration (though I graduate in May but I am done with school!!!). I use the term backpacking lightly since I am going with a group of 5 girls and we will be staying at semi nice hotels the majority of time. Don't worry guys, I'm not going to Eat, Pray, Love and try to ~find myself~ on this trip. This vacation is mainly to relax, eat a lot of food, and party with my friends that have stuck with me for the past 4 years of school.
Anyways, even though most of my friends describe my closet as LOUD and WEIRD, I beg to differ. Although I do love color, prints, and patterns, I can dress pretty basic sometimes. So while packing for Europe, I knew I had to stick with a scheme. The only thing that worries me is the fact I am a true Texan and its going to be COLD (at least at night) and I have no idea how to dress warm and cute while packing one backpack. That, and the weather will vary so I have learn how to dress in layers which I am TERRIBLE at. So the projected temperatures will vary from 38 F to 65ish.

TOPS
2 chambrays and a light weight grey button up
LIGHT KNIT TEES: 1 short sleeve, 1 long sleeve, and 5 quarter sleeve
2 cardigans, 3 light knit sweaters
BOTTOMS
SKIRTS
3 black skirts of varying lengths
JACKETS
trench (the belt is in the pocket right now) and men's utility jacket
MISCELLANEOUS
knee length animal print dress, snood, circle scarf, mittens
WHERE DID ALL THE COLOR GO!?!?
So questions
1. Do I need to swap some 3/4 sleeve shirts for short sleeve?
2. Is two chambray shirts an overkill? Ditch the grey button up too?
3. Do I bring the black maxi skirt?
4. Are 3 black skirts an overkill?
5. Am I packing too much in general?
6. Throw in more color?
7. Am I just going to be basic looking this whole trip?
Right now I think I'm going to take away 2 of the black skirts and replace it with ONE skirt of some color. Take away some shirts and sweaters just so I have more room. Aw dammit I didn't even pick my shoes yet. IDEK know guys, but I do plan on shopping there anyways so I'm not too worried.
