Tardy to the Party

Today was one of those days.  I overslept, I spent too much time digging around my kitchen for a cat food can, and my hair just wouldn't dry.  Then I remembered that it was Friday and I was due for a blog post and I literally had 15 minutes to dress and take blog worthy pictures.  As you will see, I only succeeded in doing one of those things.

Leather Jacket: Muubaa / Shirt & Pants: Forever 21 / Wedges: Target

I'll be honest.  I'm outfit repeating.  I wore practically the same outfit on Wednesday (except I paired my top and bottom with an olive green surplus jacket, a leopard scarf, braided hair, and a bold red lip -- arguably an outfit more deserving to be featured, but alas).  I couldn't get any detail of the waistband for my suhweeeeet paperbag trousers (possibly the most comfortable pants I own and the best $14.50 I've spent at Forever 21) in any of the head to toe shots, so I'm including a slightly closer shot.  Who doesn't love a floppy bow?

Such range!  I hope I've impressed you guys with my broad variety of poses.  Enjoy my kitty's photobomb.

Edit:  I recently learned that authorities apprehended the final Boston suspect.  I have a lot of feelings regarding the blatant racism that has surrounded this manhunt, but this is not the time.  My heart goes out to the city's residents, the families of the victims, the wrongfully accused, and those who have family and friends in Boston.  I hope that Boston can begin to heal.
