I Really Don't Know How to Dress Professionally

May 9, 2013

HEY GUYS I'VE MISSED YA'LL. Finally back from Europe but posting an outfit I wore before I left. Don't worry, I will probably do a big ol' Europe picture dump next week when I have time.

Skirt: Target // Top: BCBG // Flats: Target // Jacket: UO // Necklace: Vintage // Bag: Asos

Anyways, in the profession I am ABOUT TO BE IN (aka I graduate TOMORROW!!!!!) we are suppose to dress professionally. While the men wear a button up and tie, girls can get away with so much more tbh. So I love this bright and fun (and cheap!) skirt I got from Target. I found it on the clearance rack and is actually super nice material. Thick and lined and great quality for $6. The top I got for FREE with all my Gilt credit I accumulated somehow even though I never shopped there before. And the flats were a purchase of when i went to the gym and after I showered I realized I had no shoes to wear to work. I balanced all the bright springy colors with a darker, forest green motorcycle styled jacket to give it that ~edgy~ look. And I ordinarily hate flats with pencil skirts but I ain't got time for heels at school.

And shout out to my friend Kieu for taking these photos of me (on my phone) and her great direction. "Pretend you're walking, walk towards me, lean back, play with your hair." Just for you, I will post this dumb ass picture.

OUTFIT NUMBER 2: Picnic with my bf

Shirt: F21 // Skirt: Asos // Wedges: Dolce Vitga // Bag: Zara

So these are the wedges that Target made a knock off of that Michelle posted about a couple weeks ago. I absolutely love these shoes, they are so cute and comfy! And yes, its yet another midi skirt. They're just so easy to wear, comfortable, and perfect for the summer. The pleats in this one just makes it nice and flouncy and one of my favorite midi skirts that I own.
