I can't believe how quickly these 30 days have gone by. (I mean, it's easy for me to say this now, since I only have four days left of the Challenge.) I have a lot of reflections I'd like to write down regarding it all, but perhaps I'll wait until my final post next Friday, September 6th.
Blouse & Skirt: Forever 21 / Heels: Zara
This week went over much better than the last. I got to try my hand at some pattern mixing -- nothing too extreme, just some Pattern Mixing Lite, if anything. I didn't think that the star print on the blouse would work with the leopard print of the heels, but in retrospect, I was kind of feeling this.
There are six more outfits under this cut.
Shirt & Skirt: Forever 21 / Belt: H&M / Wedges: Target
I'm actually surprised that I didn't wear this midi skirt very much, as I tend to wear it a fair amount outside of the 30 For 30.
Shirt, Jeans & Sandals: Forever 21 / Jean Jacket: J. Crew
However, I am completely unsurprised by how much wear I've gotten out of this striped shirt.
Jacket: Vila via ASOS / Shirt & Jeans: Forever 21 / Heels: Zara
Blouse & Sandals: Forever 21 / Shorts: Zara
You didn't think that I would hold off for an entire week without wearing an entirely black outfit, did you?
Shirt: J. Crew / Skirt & Flats: H&M
I wanted to wear this combination earlier on in the Challenge, but my sister (who was in town at the time) told me that she wasn't into the combination of polka dot chambray and leopard print, so I followed her advice. Now that she's left town again (MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA), I thought I'd just throw caution to the wind and pair the items together anyway. To be quite honest, I like it just fine. Sure, the chambray's dotted, but it still functions as a neutral top, in my opinion.
Jean Jacket: J. Crew / Blouse & Heels: Forever 21 / Pants: H&M
If you've been following along, you may have noticed that there are three items I still haven't used (a leopard shift dress, a floral shift dress, and a pair of pants with a geometric print), but that's what the last four days of the Challenge are for!
As always, I'm interested in hearing your thoughts. Anybody inspired to try the Challenge out? Anybody?
... anybody?
